Musescore randomly crashing

Hello,
I am trying to recreate a scene from a particular piece, which doesn't have a lot of notes, but after some while of making the recreation, Musescore keeps randomly crashing every 10 seconds or so. This is super annoying, as I have to save literally every second, or all my progress is reverted. If you have any solutions, please reply. Have a good day
