Crash when launching with distant X client

• May 17, 2024 - 09:20

Hi,
I'm using Linux/XFree and I'm trying to launch MS from a distant server with a local display (it's precisely in a Proxmox hypervisor'container).
Whenever I try to launch MS, it crashes with no explicit error.

I've tried with 3 different versions:

1) MuseScore-3.6.2.548021370-x86_64.AppImage
Crashes with the following:

/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjack.so.0
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnss3.so
QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-bernard'
The X11 connection broke: No error (code 0)
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

Return code 1

2) MuseScore-4.2.0.233521125-x86_64.AppImage

Crashes with the following:

08:15:11.324 | INFO | main_thread | GlobalModule::onPreInit | log path: /home/bernard/.local/share/MuseScore/MuseScore4/logs/MuseScore_240517_081511.log

Return code 1

3) Standard Debian installed Musescore 3.2.3
Launches correctly.

I'm now clueless... Has anyone an idea?
