It would be nice to have a simple and dynamic way to set default accidentals (that aren't on the key sig.) when using midi keyboard note entry. So that you don´t have to stop writing to do it and without having to trust "intelligent" widgets as useful as they can be.
something like a [b / #] with a shortcut.

Do you hear different instrument sounds if you create a new score (such as horn, flute, etc.)?

If you open the Mixer, do you see different instruments listed under Sound for each staff or do they all say piano?

I can reproduce it with 0.9.6 beta 2 (Windows 7), but the latest nightly build does not crash.

0.9.6 is still in beta. Which revision number are you using? Go to Help > About to find out.

Pressing a note on the MIDI keyboard adds them one after another for me, not in chords. (using r. 2811, 0.9.6 beta 2)

Sorry but LoopBe1 is not good enough for you. You need a way to route the Midi in (your keyboard) to Midi out (your soundcard, or a software synthesizer).

I'm assuming the original post is referring to V0.9.6. When doing a “File”, “Save As” the dialog box automatically appends “.mscz” to the filename. To save as a “.wav”, remove the “.mscz” from the filename and select “Save as type:”, “Wave Audio (*.wav)”. V0.9.5 does not have this issue since it has no default file name.

well, now I downloaded and installed LoopBe1.
Apparently no changes, but I am not sure how to handle LoopBe1, since there is no user manual.
Looking at their website, it looks as if you should be able to get some screens to choose application 1 and application 2. - up to 8 channels.
The only one I can get is a mute/not mute screen. (?)

How should Musescore I/O look? And how should Windows XP Sound-preferences look?

So again, can anyone help?

Same problem with Ubuntu 9.10 (gnome), musescore 9.5 and 9.6
