[Mac] Cannot insert sharp on chords

Report a bug in MuseScore 1.1 rev 411 in Macbook Pro - OSX 10.6.8

You can not place the sharps in the Chords.
The combination of keys that corresponds to the sharp in MuseScore not respond and then you can not write F# or C #. I tried all possible combinations, but you can not put it in any way.

It 'just a problem of MuseScore, the symbol # you can write correctly in all other programs.

Actually lasconic's question should have been: are you using an UK keyboard layout? Or any other non-US layout?

Hello and thanks for the answers.
I am Italian and the keyboard layout is: Italian qwerty.
I tried all possible combinations but I can not enter the #.
It does not work with OSX-screen virtual keyboard.
It can be done only with the copy and paste from Chord already written in another score.
Given that the problem is known has been made ​​a patch or a solution?
