Lyrics: 2nd verse automatically in italic?

r1723 on Vista

I entered a Chinese score with 3 verses of lyrics using 0.9.4. When I loaded it back using r1723, the 2nd verse shows up in italics. Is this the default now (I assume for 2nd, 4th, etc.) and is there anyway to override it? It just does not look in my Chinese score.

You can style even-numbered lyric lines differently from odd-numbered lyric lines. In the latest prereleases the default style for even-numbered lyric lines is italic as you found out. This came out of a discussion in early February (see http://musescore.org/en/node/873 ).

Here are instructions for changing the style back to non-italic type.

From the Style menu choose Edit Text Style
In the left pane click on Lyrics even lines
De-select the "I" to remove the italic style
Press OK

I followed your instructions and it worked like a charm! I got a little worried at first because I was dreading the prospect of having to change the text style of each and every character. As long as the mechanism of changing it remains and clearly documented, I really don't have strong feeling against it.
