Pedal Markings

Before perhaps filing these in the tracker, I want to ask:
Can the second example be done (link)?
1. Features no line and the end is denoted by a star.
2. Appears similar to what currently exists in MuseScore, but there's an indentation towards the note.
Also, in the attached PNG, there are arrows at the end of the pedal markings - can this be done in MuseScore?

If by "indentations" you mean the invert "v" shapes within the line, that's often referred to as a pedal change (I've also heard the term "syncopated pedal”), and I do believe that is coming in 2.0, although I've never tried it. I do seem to recall seeing symbols for it in the palette, though.
