Would it be possible to add the ability to open a FLAC or OGG file with MuseScore at some point?

FLAC and OGG are sound formats (just like WAV or MP3). It is unrealistic to convert these types of files into notation automatically.

No. I have a Windows program that turns MP3, WAV files into MIDI, but it doesn't produce even half-decent notation files. I guess it's not going to happen.
