Lines and notes lengthened in duration not deselected when clicking elsewhere

  • Open this score created from scratch with MuseScore daf97e1 on Xubuntu 14.10.

  • Select the second quarter note (in the second voice) of the first measure.

  • Add an augmentation dot with the shortcut key or by clicking in the toolbar icon.

  • Click in a blank area of the score to deselect the note.

Result: the note remains selected (green note head).

FWIW, same thing happens if you change to a half note instead of adding a dot, Also, the note *is* selected internally - the Inspector goes blank, Delete has no effect. Just the highlighting is not cleared, until you press just about any other key / button.

It also happens with all lines dragged and dropped from the palette. For example, add a crescendo (anywhere in the score, it's not important) from the palette, and click elsewhere to deselect it. Result: it remains blue.
