Beam distance incorrect in small staves

Ubuntu 14.04, GIT commit: 5cb1920

1) new score
2) add some sixteenth and/or thiry-second notes
3) set staff size to "small" or scale the staff (not the score) to 70%

Result: beams are too far apart - the distance between them did not scale. Problem gets more obviously worse the smaller you try scaling.
