Initially selected drum icon not active in drum entry mode

Ubuntu 14.04, GIT commit: 949eefc

1) new score for drumset
2) emtpy measure, note entry
3) notice a drum is pre-selected for you (at least, it you've done any previous drum entry that session)
4) click in score to enter that drum

Result: nothing happens. And if the pre-selected drum note has something other than a standard head, this is not reflected in the shadow note.
