I just bought an AKAI LPK25 MIDI Keyboard Controller. I am not getting any input.

I connect the controller, drivers are installed, the controller is on, the editor is running. Then I start Musescore. Click on the rest sign that becomes highlighted. Click on note entry mode. Then I can enter via mouse or pc keyboard... but nothing from my MIDI controller. I am new at this... What am I doing wrong?

Are you using MuseScore 0.9.6.3 ? On which OS ?
Can you check Edit -> Preferences -> I/O -> Choose PortMidi input interface and verify that your keyboard is listed and selected?

OK.. found it.... selected the USB AudioDevice... Restarted.... Now nothing listed in the dropdown... weird... restarted... reinstalled... still nothing... weird

Reinstallation is not necessary. Are you sure that the MIDI button is on in the toolbar ? near the play button?

Uninstalled MIDI yoke since I was no longer needing to try it...Restarted.... Now nothing listed in the dropdown... weird... restarted... still nothing... again
