Long dash causes hang

Description
in the in progress attached score, when I try to attach a long dash to the alto voice, mscore freezes.

oops! trunk nightly build 2969M ubuntu 9.04
my score being now (almost) ready, it gives perhaps more informations. I attach it.
Some continuity lines has been possible, others not.
Trying to place (or lengthen) such lines at
measure 8 (tenor)
measure 9 (alto)
measure 13 (soprano)
freezes mscore, which has to be killed
Is this still a problem? If so, can you provide exact steps?
By dash, do you mean 'Line' in the Lines palette?
