Bells Used Plugin is for MuseScore 1.2. It generates Bells Used and Bells Not Used information and can present it in a score format, a text file, or a CSV file for use with spreadsheet software.

Note Names

This Plugin is derived from the Note Names plugin.
It adds the note names of the chords (not just the top note) in all voices (not just voice 1) of either the entire current score (not just the top staff) or on the selected measures/staves as staff text (above the staff for voice 1 and 3, below for voice 2 and 4) and uses note names according to the locale MuseScore is configured for (instead of just the English note names C, D, E, F, G, A, B).Read more

Installation instructions:

  1. Download the plugin from here: https://github.com/c3yvonne7/harmonyRules/zipball/master
  2. Unzip the .zip file and save the .js file in the plugins directory of MuseScore. On Windows it's c:\Program Files\MuseScore\plugins
  3. Restart or start MuseScore

Keyboard View Score

This plug-in opens a new window to show a mix of a piano roll and a score, making it easier to visualize keyboard positions in the score, with a mini-keyboard drawn along the score with the pressed keys.

Instructions to run it:
1.Extract the zip file under your MuseScore plugins folder. (Usually "[program files folder]/MuseScore/plugins"
2.Run MuseScore.

Detect simple harmonies (Major, minor, Septime)

Scans every chord and writes the harmony name next to it if one of the 3 types (Major, minor, Septime) is identified. A number indicates the inversion.

Score Statistics

This plugin lists some statistics about the current score; data can also be saved in a .CSV file.

Requirements

Score Statistics has been tested with MuseScore 0.9.6 beta2.
It should work with later versions.
It may work with version 0.9.6 beta 1.
It does not work with version 0.9.5.Read more

Installation

  • Extract the files in the "plugins" sub-folder of the main folder where your copy of MuseScore is installed in. This creates a "scorestats" sub-folder of the "plugins" folder.
  • Start or re-start MuseScore.
