Dynamics
Hey, I am new to composing with this and when I add a dynamic to a measure only that measure will have that dynamic and the others will be different when it should be keeping the same dynamic. Doe anyone know what I am doing wrong or how to fix this?

No, once you set the level to (for example) forte, it stays forte until you change it to (for example) pianissimo. I have not seen any case of a dynamic level returning to a previous level without an indicated change.
Each level is fairly close to the next: for example, mezzo piano is very close to mezzo forte and forte is fairly close to fortissimo. It will not be a marked change in volume when you go from one to an adjacent one. But it's quite noticeable when you jump by more than one level.

Thanks, but I found that it was just my old laptop had speaker problems.
