Check repeats
Finale has a Check Repeats feature which shows you how your entered repeats will play. For example, 1-5, 1-3, 6-25 for a setup with a first ending on mm. 4 and 5, go back to the beginning and play 1 to 3, jump to 6 (2nd ending) and play to the end.
Does MS have something similar?

Fairly sure this is not what you're asking for, but playing the piece will show exactly that, if you pay attention while it's playing.
No. Speed up the tempo and play it through is the best you can do at present.

Well maybe somebody will add it But what I’d really, really like is do do it in reverse: I would enter the road map, and the program would enter the repeats, with proper notation and playback.

"Speed up the tempo and play it through is the best you can do at present."
And it's a very good solution, which I use often when checking how repeats, voltas, DC, DC al Segno, DC al Fine or To Coda are actually working.
