MuseScore 2.3.2 and "Upload Score Audio" fix
We are glad to announce upcoming MuseScore 2.3.2 minor release which brings fixes for several significant bugs:
- pending issue with uploading score audio
- Same note in different voices and lengths plays only the length of the shortest note
- Zerberus: add support for "global_volume=" opcode
- Zerberus (SFZ) instruments are too quiet compared to SoundFont instruments
- "Regroup Rhythms" crashes the program if measures contain Measure repeat symbols
The issues have been fixed, but require additional thorough testing to prevent regressions.
We are asking you to help and test uploading score audio in various ways.
Packages are available here:
- Windows 7, 8, 10. Remember, this is (probably) not the final release installer, but uses the same version, so you will need to reinstall MuseScore after publishing the official release.
- Mac OS X 10.7 or higher
- Linux 64-bit
- Linux 32-bit

Any chance to also get #274204: Regression: Ambitus causes a crash just while clicking on it fixed? It definitely is a 2.3 regression
Which day will 2.3.2 be released?
#271236: "Line visible" property not honored on screen for text lines should be an easy fix. Once upon a time MuseScore was always first a notation software and being forced to show lines on dims. and crescs. in version 2.3.x is not a good notation practice.

It is not a 2.3 regression but a 2.2 one and also not a crash. Whether easy to fix of not remains to be seen.

@mattmcclinch's fixes for both issues look good to me and simple/straight forward enough to not cause yet another regression.
#273606: Augmentation dot button is not disabled when playing score might be worth getting fixed in 2.3.2 too, a fix seems known and looks simple enough

In my opinion, this one is not big enough of a problem (no crash, no lack of feature etc...) to be put in a bug fixes release and risk regressions.

Not really essential, yes, but just a deletion of 2 lines of code and the same as already done for master.
Getting the Ambitus crash fix in is much more important though
If possible, could we also add #274432: [Regression] Regroup rhythm does not work if the expected notes are shorter than the starting ones? I pushed a PR which should solve the regression, for code reviewing.
In the proposed PR I also "solved" the mess that Regroup rhythm makes with tuplets, by not letting it rewrite tuplets at all.
