view counter
On june 14th the view counter associated with my musescore page stopped working properly. I wrote two letters to the musescore team (contact us) inquiring about this and have yet to receive any response.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or is anyone else currently dealing with this musescore error and malfunction? Can someone suggest a remedy to this problem with the musescore site? Can someone tell me why this happened to my musescore page? I would like to return the view counter to proper working status.
Thanks and regards,
Ellie

Mr. Thomas Bonte,
I noticed your response in my E mail. Thank you for sharing with me this explanation. I understand you that you have reconfigured your system in such a way that it reduces the counting of my views without reducing the actual viewership and that your old method of calculation was off by a factor of ten.
It would appear by your new system that you are counting redirects to your site from groups where I post that have 10,000-100,000 plus members sharing a page link as a single discrete view.
In my simple judgement views should logically signify the total number of views. It is not that complicated. It would be better to break the views into categories in a Pie graph or some other sort of barre diagram form for further analysis separate and distinct from total views. Leave total views alone.
I hope you will consider a category for total number views in the new statistics package you will be testing and revealing this summer. Of course, I don't pay for any subscription so I will not be receiving any of this data.
Thanks for your time and I hope these suggestions may be of some assistance to serving your community.
regards,
Ellie
