refund

I signed up for the free pro trial to use a feature for one piece and then immediately went to cancel the subscription, however my account said (and still says) that my card was declined so I was under the impression that I wouldn't be charged and didn't touch the account after. I just got an email saying I was charged $49 (even though it still says my card was declined) and I really do not have that kind of money (I'm a broke college student living off a scholarship) so I could really use a refund.

The subscription is part of the score sharing platform musescore.com. Nobody here on musescore.org can help you out with that. On this domain we only deal with issues regarding the desktop notation software itself.
