Playback Tempo Percentage Breaks Audio

Whenever I try to adjust the tempo using the percentage widget on the playback toolbar (percentage widget is only available when the toolbar is undocked), it eventually (and pretty soon) breaks audio playback completely.

OS: Windows 11 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.4-243461245, revision: 2232670

It would be a very valuable feature if it worked. For now I adjust the tempo of the entire piece.
