Crashing when interacting with UI elements
Hi, I'm running MS4 4.5.1.250800846 on both a PC and a laptop. On PC there is no issue, however on the laptop I'm getting crashes withing a few seconds of interacting with UI elements. Trying to adjust preferences, creating a new score etc. will result in a crash very quickly.
Strangely, opening and editing an existing score works perfectly, which leads me to believe this is a UI issue.

As a blind guess, perhaps the laptop has incompatible Qt libraries?

Thank you for your answer.
Wouldn't the Musescore installer provide the compatible libraries and use those? It's not clear from the linked thread which would be the libraries to check or even how to check them.

A couple of suggestions:
1. Do you have an NVIDIA graphics card? Try updating its drivers.
2. If you have a second graphics card, try switching to it to see if this will resolve the problem.
