Musescore 4 Corrupted File- Can't Fix Please Please Please, Need Help
I was writing a saxophone quartet for a performance coming up, and after just working on it today the file corrupted and has been unable to open. I tried musescore evolution and renaming the backup, nothing has worked so far. If anyone could help me please, Id very much appreciate it.

It's just a file full of zeros. Unfortunately nothing to recover.
where "name_of_your_file" is the name of your project file.
Copy it to another location, remove the ~ from the file name and try to open it.
You can try Recuva

Use *.mscz| instead of *.txt|

Going forward, the following thread post describes @yonah_ag's folder structure (and now, mine, too) for file versioning. This might help if the problem arises in the future. (Sadly, if you're not already doing it, it cannot help NOW.)

If you're saving your files into a OneDrive/Dropbox/etc synchronised folder then you can download an older version of the files, preceding the corruption. It has saved my bacon many times!
