Expression Text ABOVE Staff
I often use Expression Text as additional performance notes for my Barbershop singing or Taiko playing. It is used for choreography and emotions or mood. It would be good if there is an option to put Expression Text ABOVE the staff like most other Texts. Currently, I have to create one, move it above the staff, then copy and edit the contexts of the Expression Text.
P.S. I am not familiar with the other text options available in Musescore.

There is no need to copy paste. You can set up one example of the text how you want it in the score, position above/below staff, size, font, etc. Then add it to a palette as described here. https://handbook.musescore.org/customization/palettes#adding-elements-f… (you need to scroll through the article to the section headed Adding elements from the score). You can then add it to the score as you would any other palette item. You can even have several different versions with different characteristics in the same palette.
The X shortcut toggles Expression Text between Below and Above, just as the shortcut does for most/all other types of elements.
Personally, I would recommend using either Staff Text or System Text "for choreography and emotions or mood" rather than Expression Text. YMMV, of course.

Expression text is above by default for vocal staves
