piano sounds stuck
i have a score with a piano instrument, but it playes a chord every first bar. meaning if i start from the biggining its fine but if i start listening it corrupts and playes that chord again. for reference that chord is AmMaj9 so you can see how that ruins it. any help?

What exactly do you start from the beginning that's fine, other than listening?
If you do not wish to listen to the written chord symbols for the first 8 bars, uncheck 'Play chord symbols' in playback settings (accessed via the cogwheel in the playback controls.)
Then you will only hear the piano's notated chords.
