Adding New Instruments, like the Eb Clarinet
When adding new instruments to my score, my screen reader does not read all of the instruments available when I select "All Instruments". For instance, the last instrument my screen reader reads in the Woodwinds family is the Soprano Recorder. What is the easiest way to make the screen reader tell me all of the instruments in a particular family?

Choose "All Instruments".
Then you get a dropdown menue at the clarinet where you can chosse between the Bb, Eb, D, C, A and G clarinette.
EDIT: and you can insert a search term in the field ...

In the Instruments dialogue, I cannot expand the clarinet family of instruments using the arrow keys. Is there a keyboard shortcut that is not the arrow keys that I can use to expand a particular group of instruments?

Unfortunately is the dialogue only available if you have choosen "All Instruments", not under "Common Instruments".
Perhaps it is different in your OS and/or in the version of Musescore?

Here a screenshot of a new score; it is similar if I add an instrument:
My installation is OS: Windows 11 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.5.1-250800846, revision: 603eca8
