Join Measures causes crazy response
Join Measures is creating a fascinating problem. In addition to losing the tie and lyrics, it causes a weird graphical error. Sometimes ctrl+z fixes it, sometimes it crashes. I've attached screenshots and the affected file.
OS: Windows 11 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.5.2-251141402, revision: ac9d3bc

Your score is 20 pages long... Which joined measures trigger this effect? 15-20, 24-26 or what else? Do you do it in the main score or in a part? Please be precise.

mm. 69-70, as indicated in the screenshots.
I attempted it both in a part and the main score.

Sorry, that wasn't clear.
Confirmed. The effect is spectacular, especially in Continuous View. Please file a bug report on Github, here:https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues
NB: seems to be the same issue here: https://musescore.org/en/node/378184
(but with another scenario, Time signature change vs. Join measures) ?

The good news is that this would be "just" a visual glitch, the problem resolving by itself after Save-Reload. Do you agree?

I created the issue https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/27888

Are you sure? After save/close/reopen the tie is completely missing.

I was talking about the visual glitch that resolves itself. I haven't checked the tie. But if it's missing, of course it's a problem.
