How to create a twisted beam between distant notes on the same staff?
I'm trying to notate two beamed notes that are far apart vertically on the same staff. I’ve seen in published scores that instead of drawing a very long stem or an awkward beam angle, some engravers use a kind of "twisted beam" that connects the two notes cleanly.
Is there a way to manually adjust or create this kind of twisted beam in MuseScore?
Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Use cross staff notation then select the beam and drag it to where you want.

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually can't use cross-staff notation in this case because I'm writing for violin, and it only has a single staff.

Oh sorry, then just drag the beam.

Simply grab the beam and slide down to the desired position. The twisted beam will be created automatically, without any further action.
