Beaming
I'm curious to know why musescore beamed these consecutive bars differently. I know I can change beaming within musescore, but this is native so it's the software itself that chose to beam this way.
Thanks in advance

Score needed
I can't get it to break that beam, except by using the Beam properties palette or changing the beaming with the time signature (which changes both measures).
Please attach your score (the .MSCZ file). Also please identify your computer's operating system and version, and MuseScore's version. You can get all three simultaneously by clicking on Help / About MuseScore from the main menu. Then click the copy button (two pieces of paper) next to the "Revision" number. Paste that into your post.
The score is a project in motion. I was curious to see if there was a rule about beaming in two or four 1/8th notes that musescore was obeying.
I can't reproduce it.
Thanks for your assistance. Please don't spend more time on it.

Absolutely the most common "bug", and by a very large margin: "Something weird happened ... and now it's not happening." *LOL*
