Snap Percussion Panel resize and position versatility

I love the new design for the percussion panel, and making it as a pad grid makes it very intuitive, but I'm having a problem with it: It's way too big and hindering.

I work on a laptop with only one screen, so I don't have much space, and when the percussion panel opens whenever I click a percussion staff it opens on the top of the screen, but the buttons are too big and I can't see the drums.

So I have to extend it down, but that creates a new problem, because now I can barely see the score itself, the percussion panel ends up taking almost half the screen!

So I tried moving it away somewhere else, but turns out the panel can only be: at the top, taking space horizontally across the whole screen, at the bottom, taking space horizontally across the whole screen, or as a separate window, which becomes tiring to use (and for it to be truly useful, it still covers way too much space horizontally.

I think it would be awesome if the interface could be customized further, such as setting the size of the buttons and letting us snap the window to the sides of the screen (maybe as an extra tab next to the palette).
