Aligning text with notation
I am using chant notation. When I need to change the lyrics (which happens weekly), the notation does not correspond. If I try to move things to match, all sorts of mayhem happens. So, how do I move the notation with the lyrics and vice versa?

Here's your particular chant phrase (in 2) and a random bit of "lorem ipsum" text (in 3) as an example for the future.
Right-click on empty space in one of the chant measures, then click on Measure properties.... Inspect the "Nominal duration" and "Actual duration" to see what I did with the measures. If your chant changes rhythmically from time to time, you may need to change the "Actual duration" to match.
Click on the first note of each of the measures, then go to the Properties panel (upper left) and the Appearance button. Inspect the Leading space value. You may need to adjust that if the lyrics to that note change radically in length. Experiment with it to see what happens.
