Note coloring
When I change the color of a single note or all notes in a given voice, I like all the note's components (head, stem and flag) to be of the same color. However, I cannot find a way to color all the note's components at the same time: when I select a note and then change its color in the property pane, only the head gets the new color. Am I missing something?

No, you're not missing anything. Every component of a chord can have different colors.

Thank you... I get that, but my point was not about chords. When changing a color's note, it is quite tedious to change the note head color, then select its stem, change its color, then select its flag, change its color... so that the whole note is in the same color. In particular, when a whole voice needs coloring, it would be nice that all heads, stems and flags be colored altogether, not only the heads.

You need to either list-select all elements you want to color (click, ctrl+click, ctrl+click,...), or to range select the chord (click, shift+right, shift+left), then change the color
The color voices plugin does that for you,
(Except that it currently doesn't work for 4.5, I'm working on this, the initial step would be to exclude beams, as including them stops the entire coloring from working, pushed now)

Thanks, great plugin, does all voices with one click!
Two comments:
- I was just going to say that beams are not colored! - but I understand that the issue lies with 4.5.
- Could the plugin work with the colors specified in Preferences/Advanced, rather than the default ones that are not vivid enough (see attached images)?

It should work with the settings from preferences, are you saying that does not?

It does not, even after relaunching MS - pls see my preferences attached (and the plugin's result in my previous message).
- FYI, if I need voices 1 and 2 on the upper stave, I use voices 3 and 4 on the lower one, so that each voice has its own color. This is particularly useful when a voice moves between the two staves.

This feature then might have gone down the drain with 4.4 😕
