Lyric underscore

Is it possible to force a lyric underscore to account for a suspended syllable in another part like in the attached example. It would be nice to force an underscore after "di-gni-ty" to account for the suspension in the tenor part below.
OR
If I could enter these lyrics to the tenor part, where I could enter the underscore naturally, and then force these lyrics all the way up even with the treble lyrics.
