Audio playback not working

Ever since I downloaded the new update for MuseScore, none of my scores have been playing back audio. Audio still works in my browser and other applications, just not MuseScore.
I've closed out of the app and opened it again, restarted my computer, and restored the program to factory settings. None of these have worked and I'm still not getting any audio. A friend suggested it might be something about the settings in my mixer because whenever I export mp3 files, they are also silent. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
