Select the n-th vota for playback
Hi there!
I'm writing down some notes and I have votas and repeats. To figure out if the notation is what I want it to be I play back parts all the time.
But how can I choose to play back the 3rd vota, to check if it sounds right?
Is there a possibility to click on something in the notation or press a shortcut? Maybe in the timeline?
For now the only possibility I've seen is the progress bar in the playback menu or inputting the exact time as seconds, which is not very handy.

Select vota 3's first chord/rest, start playback?

Yes, that works if I want to start playback just there. I want to listen to the transition into the vota, however. Say, four bars before and then continue with the third vota and further.

You could disable the playback of repeats altogether via the corresponding button ion the playback toolbar

But that would play 'measures before volta/, then 'volta 1', 'volta 2', 'volta 3'. I believe that OP wants to play 'measures before volta', then 'volta 3'. As if it were on the third repeat.
There is no easy way to do this. I would recommend just play the entire thing through. However, if you must, select the first volta. Go to Properties / Volta / Style and change the Repeat list to "3". Then select the third volta, go to the same place and change the Repeat list to "1".
BE SURE to change them back when you are done!!!
