Where is the Tranpose link?
Hello,
I am in a music theory class. Instructor shared how easy it is to GO TO TOOLS, then TRANSPOSE to change octaves. I cannot find TOOLS let alone TRANSPOSE. Any thoughts out there? You are appreciated. Sharon

(but if you just need to change octaves - notes, measures or staves - simply use the shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd (Mac) + up or down arrow)

Thank you. I do not have the tool bar showing... Any way to have that show too?
Thanks for short cuts. Will try.

You should see Tools in the menus not the toolbar.
If you don't see it in the menus then there is something very wrong with your installation. Musescore has no setting that would disable the display of the menus.
Can you attach a screenshot of what you see in the Musescore window and say which version of Musescore you are using and which operating system.

Yeah, from their description, I suspect that OP is looking either at musescore.com or at the MuseHub application.
