BUG: Lyrics overlapping when even line font size is different from odd line font size.
If the "Lyrics odd lines" and "Lyrics even lines" styles have different font sizes, then the lyric lines will not be evenly spaced and can even result in overlapping text. It appears that Musescore is calculating the line spacing for odd lines independently of the even lines.

Messing around with the other style properties such as line spacing and offset does not do anything. So far, the only workaround I know of is to manually add an offset to each word.

Each word, no, such pain.... :)
More like this: right-click on a word/syllable in, say, verse 4 / Select / More / Tick "same subtype": Verse 4 / OK
Then set the vertical offset in the Properties.
