A few stems missing
Hi there,
Why are only a few stems missing in bars 6, 7, 10 etc.? I've tried the usual suspects (Stemless box, shortcut V) but they don't fix the problem.
Windows 11 Home,
MuseScore 4.5.2.251141 402
Revision ac9d3bc
Thanks!
David

Check in Properties / Stem / Untick "Stemless"

So glad I saw this.
Tonight I opened a MS3 score in MS4. All notes were stemless. NOT a problem in MS3—just select all and toggle Note>Stemless to off/unchecked.
But in MS4's UI it's considerably more awkward and disorienting.
When I have a single note selected Notes appears in MS4's Properties panel. So that's simple enough, as shown in the image cadiz1 provided.
But when I have multiple notes selected the Properties panel does not display the Notes area. But I persisted and found that inside the Notation area there's a Note ... mmmm... Tab? Opening it provides the options available in Notes.
So there's my solution, in an unfamiliar form in an unfamiliar place.
And if I select multiple rests the Rest area shows Beam Type. Beams for rests??
Who thinks this stuff up?

Thanks! I was right-clicking on the bar, and checking/unchecking [Stemless], which had no effect. Instead, clicking [View]-[Properties]-[Note]-[Stem] and unchecking [Stemless] did the trick. I'll remember for next time.
