Musescore 4 crashes when changing actual measure duration
I realize this has been reported in the past, but I did not see any reports for MuseScore 4. I created a pickup measure and changed the measures actual duration, and that worked fine. But when I try to change the actual time duration for the last measure in the song to match the pickup MuseScore crashes. I tried at least 1/2 dozen times all with the same result. To test I verified it does not occur if I change the actual duration for any other measure; only the last one.
To duplicate:
Open a completed score in 3/4 time.
Select first measure, measure properties, set actual duration to 1/4, close dialog. Select the last measure, measure properties, set actual duration to 2/4. Click apply or close, MuseScore crashes.
Test notes: This did not occur with a brand new, empty score, only with a completed one. I tried deleting the notes from the last measure and it still occurred. I do not have any finished pieces with a different time signature to test.
System: MuseScore 4, Windows 11.

So please attach this "completed score" for further investigation.

I created a 3/4 score for two instruments (and parts) and followed your instructions. All's well, see: flute oboe.mscz
Which means that the problem you're reporting is for some reason specific to your score. That's why we need to look into it, otherwise we won't make any progress.

You are likely right; it may be because of it being a score converted from a previous version to MuseScore 4.

I'm sorry, I don't believe I can attach the piece. It's a copyrighted piece of sheet music I purchased about ten years ago that I copied into MuseScore in order to transpose it to my instrument's key signature. My original duplication was with MuseScore 1.0, which may or may not be relevant, as I only recently opened it in MuseScore 4 and allowed the app to convert it. I will try to create a score that is similar (same time signature, has notes, etc.), though if the crash is due to it being a converted score then the crash likely will not occur. Sadly, I'm not a composer, so any other pieces I have from previous versions will also be "duplicated for personal pleasure."

I can scramble up the notes, remove the title, and attach that. Though I may inadvertently remove whatever may be causing the issue. I'll play with it and see what I can do.

" My original duplication was with MuseScore 1.0"
MuseScore 1.0? Ouch...
"I can scramble up the notes, remove the title, and attach that."
Yes, you can scamble up some notes, edit/remove the title, but don't remove anything else.
