Extra Hyphen at beginning of text at start of staff
The newest release has a defect in that the lyric text now has an extra hyphen at the beginning of the staff following a word continuation.

The dash (hyphen) is optional.

The option to 'Restate dash before syllable on first note of the system' is available using menu item: Format > Style > Lyrics:
