compatibility

Hello,
I am currently using v3.6.2.548021803 of music score app. If I go an line and download a .mscz file and try to open it into the app, it says it's not compatible and I need to upgrade to a newer version. This is fine with me, but my question is:
If I upgrade to v4.5.3 does it still allow exporting a file to MusicXML, file type: Uncompressed (outdated) (*.xml)?

This is an important feature to me and is NOT available from the Musescore web interface.

Well there's no 4.5.3 and most probably never will be.
But MuseScore Studio 4 (all versions) can still export to uncompressed MusicXML, as .MusicXML and as .xml (which is exactly the same format, just a different file extension)

And the web interface is only for sharing scores. It has no effect on what you can do with a score. Only the application--MuseScore Studio--can actually DO anything with a score ... like export it to musicxml.

Thanks for the comments and help. It is true, one of the formats from the web is .mxl, but I don't think I can simply rename a .mxl file to a .xml file and it can imported as such. Examining the file as text, does not show xml.
As you said it is compressed, so a work around is to rename it as .zip then extract it. You then get an xml format file named "score.xml".
I did an upgrade and can see that I can export from the Musescore 4 version directly to xml with the file name maintained. My worry was that this capability might not have been carried forward.
Thanks
