How to Change midi note for percussions ? MS 4.5
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to change the midi note for the percussions ? Because I use Kontakt or other samplers and the notes in my softwares don't correspond with Musescore.
In this example below, for Musescore the Bass Drum is on C2 or in my software it's on C1 !!
Thank for your help

Hi thanks for your answer, but there is not the answer to my question on this page.
I searching for changing the MIDI note I send to my sampler from Musescore, to play the good sound in it.
By default the snare is on D2 and I want it on C#1

You can define your snare in c#1 and delete the definition on D2. Then save as.

Thanks for your answer, OK, but how because I don't find this option ? If you have time, can you send a screenshot please ?
I'm on Mac OS, if you are on Windows maybe there is a different option ?
Thanks for your help

In this video: https://www.youtube.com/live/EzNGTqzsStg?si=lv57bYXb8ypbxuN0&t=2184
you see Marc changing the Woodblock from midi note 116 to 76.
(MuseScore 3 video, but this has not changed)
There might be an option in your Kontakt instrument (probably using C3 as middle C - midi 60) to change this to C4 as middle C (midi 60) as used in MuseScore.
If you are at ease editing files, you also can export default kit as a .drm file and edit it.
e.g.
Just change the
Drum Pitch="xx"
to the midi note you want to use.
You will need to load the adapted percussion map every time you want to use it.
