MS4 Playback Glitch Upon Reopening
Ok this happens like 95% of the time. I'll be working on something, then I'll close my macbook but leave MS4 open. However, when I reopen my macbook and go back to the project I was working on, suddenly the playback just doesn't work anymore. The "slider" (idk what else to call it but it's the line that moves along with the score during playback) moves at a completely different tempo than the score is actually at and the playback makes no sound. The only way to fix it is to close and restart, and this is a really annoying time consumer since I have to wait for MS to boot back up. Are there any fixes?

No. Sorry. Don't ever close the lid without closing MuseScore
MuseScore shouldn't be taking a long time to start.
OTOH check to see if Mac has a setting to not sleep it you close the lid.

Is there any particular reason for this? This isn't a problem on MS3.

I don't know about Mac, but in Windows it can happen with 3.

It can be a problem on MuS 3 and 2 before that. Not "will be" but "can be".
