Greater Support for Arrows

When I want to use an arrows (if I want to indicate a transition from sul tasto to sul pont, for example) I need to use a frustrating workaround - I add an arrow from the master palette, add a basic line above the note, increase the thickness of the line to match the arrow from the palette, and move everything into place. This works, but it breaks in part scores and with any kind of resizing.

Is there a plan (or have I missed the ability to) have these kinds of arrows better supported? If we could just have a slightly larger variety of end hooks on the basic line (i.e. have an arrow be an option for it, or let us choose any arbitrary symbol), even, the problem would be solved for me. If anyone else has a better workaround, please let me know!
