I Recently Updated My Muscore to the Most Recent Version, After I Did, All Instruments Except for a Select Few Were Silent
The only instruments that have sound now are the instruments in the MuseKeys plugin I got, meaning piano and organ and clavinet. Everything else is silent. I tried all of the recommended paths to fixing the issue like resetting my preferences, but to no avail. I would really appreciate help, as I am currently in the middle of a project that I can no longer complete.

Probably because MuseScore may be set to read Muse sounds by default.
Open the mixer and mouse over the top of one of the channels with no sound. On the right, a down arrow will appear and list the options for sound fonts. Select Basic and the instrument you want to play.
In Edit>Playback setup, you can change Basic sounds be the default. Then you will need to select Muse Keys in the mixer for those sounds.
