Greater control over the application of Measure Numbers
We really need greater control over the placement of measure numbers.
Note in the attached excerpt, using a competing product, I'm able to insert measure numbers to any staff I choose, independently from each staff.
As in the attachment, many large-scale system scores use large measure numbers, under the last staff in the system, centered under each measure.
I was also able to insert measure numbers to the very top staff, beginning of staff only.
I write a lot of scores like this, and being able to insert measure numbers below the last staff is crucial.

Try this.
Format>Style>Measure numbers. Check "show first", puts a number in the first measure.
Reduce the interval to 1. That numbers each measure.
Open the Properties tab.
Right click one of the measure numbers. Select>More>Same staff. That selects all the measure numbers.
Uncheck Auto place.
Select one of the measure numbers and you can drag them all to the bottom of the page.
Make the size bigger.
I would do this all last.

As you can see, it's planned for the next version 4.6. However, I see that work has not yet begun. And what is planned for a release can be postponed... However, we're not immune to a pleasant surprise :)
