Progress Deleted
I have been working on a song and my progress I made today was deleted, but I still have the mp3 of what I did. Is there any way to get my progress back? I just think its weird the the mp3 is the new version but the score reverted back/

While there are applications that claim to be able to produce notation from audio files, no one I've ever talked to says that they work for anything other than extremely simple audio files.
It's literally impossible for MuseScore Studio to delete files: it simply doesn't have any code to do so at all. (Because of situations like this :-)
Based on your description, my first guess is that you exported the .MP3 and then believed (incorrectly) that you had already saved the file. Obviously, there are other possibilities as well: Perhaps you saved the file in a different place than you believe you did. Try searching the hard drive for, perhaps,** *.mscz**, which would find all MuseScore score files on the hard drive.
For future reference, you would be wise to save frequently. (Our joke is "Save early! Save often!") If you use the File / Save As and change the filename each time (for example with date/time or version numbers) then a problem will only affect a little bit of work. Personally, I save my scores about once each system/staff.
