Lyric spacing
Why when I try to space my lyrics using "Ctrl spacebar" do the words bump down out of line with the rest of the lyrics, and sometimes they don't? It's so frustrating!! Help!!

The way you describe it sounds like you are going on the second verse.
Better attach the mscz file here.

It happens on any verse. Or when I go into correct typos.
Then I get everything lined back up. Save. Re-open the score, and any lyrics I changed are all back out of line again.

I can't figure it out, I tried resetting the settings from Style. If I try to enter a sixth verse...
It could be a page size problem but maybe a bug (https://musescore.org/en/node/355580 ?).
Edit
Question: had you changed the order of the verses after entering them?
"Why when I try to space my lyrics using "Ctrl spacebar" do the words bump down out of line with the rest of the lyrics, and sometimes they don't?"
It's because you have changed the font size of your existing lyrics in the wrong way!
If you look in Format > Style... > Text styles > Lyrics odd lines / Lyrics even lines, you will see that the font size is set by default to 10 pt.
But you have manually selected your existing lyrics and forced the font size to 8 pt - which means that any new lyric verse (or edits to existing lyric verses) are still entered as 10 pt, hence the spacing anomalies.

Thank you. But I checked that, and the font size stays the same - the text is just out of line. So I have solved the problem by just grabbing the notes and pulling them a little to the right to give the lyrics more space. That has been working perfectly for me now! :)
