There was always a long pause at section breaks, but at least the marker didn't show up when you printed it off. Is there some way of stopping it printing?

There is a way of stopping it printing: don't print it!
The marker of a section break has a pause of 3 seconds, but this value can also be set to 0s or any value. And can only be heard when the score is played.
But it has nothing to do with printing ...

This is a section break
It doesn't print. It only shows up in the score tab if you have Show Formatting ticked in the View Menu. You Could get it to print from a screengrab I suppose, but why would you do that if you didn't want to see it in the printed copy.
