Tuba part playback fails with demisemiquaver tremolo
OS: Windows 11 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.5.2-251141402, revision: ac9d3bc
Tuba part minim D4.
With no tremolo or with single or double line tremolo playback is fine. With triple-line tremolo it's silent.

True. And probably nothing to be done about it. Tremolo is probably the wrong sign anyway. Do you really want Flutter tongue? Try shake or a trill. Obviously not the same, but might be the best you'll get.

The fact it works fine for other similar instruments suggests this is probably a simple bug to fix. Thanks for the suggestions for workarounds for playback.

The problem is that I think it is not a legitimate brass technique. Just because it works for other instruments doesn't mean anything.

Tremolo is (I would humbly suggest :-) not a 'technique', but an effect. The technique required here is obviously flutter-tongue. And it is used in tuba parts by many composers.
I think it's a bug in Musescore Muse Sounds that the playback is silent for this specific tremolo. And it is specific to this sound font. In MS Basic Brass it does sound.

Two thoughts come to me.
1. There needs to be some text with the tremolo so that the player knows what it means. Like "FL" or "flutter", or something.
2. Playback of the tremolo symbol for brass is so terrible that I don't think I'd use it at all.
