Bar numbers and multimeasures in part formatting
Hi,
I was very familiar with Musescore 3, but switched to Sibelius for work reasons, soon after MS4 came out. Now I'm back in MS4, and there are a couple of quirks that I'm still trying to figure out because MS3 didn't do these things (and sibelius doesn't either). Hoping someone can help me.
Here is an example screenshot. This is a part, and I have 2 issues with bar 3.
1) I want the multimeasure rests to be collapsed overall. However, when there's just a single empty bar, it's confusing to have the multimeasure number on the top. Is there a setting for a minimum threshold on multimeasure rests?
2) Similarly, I want the bracketed bar numbers under my multimeasures, but it's redundant for the regular bar number to also be there. Is there a setting so that if bracketed multimeasure numbers show, the regular bar number for that particular bar is disabled?
I'm aware that I can manually hide these, but it is tedious to do that for every single occurence on every single part.

In Format / Style / Rests / Multimeasure rests: Set “Minimum number of empty measures”.
The "default" is 1. Set it to 2 (or other)
You'll find that there are many other parameters concerning Width, Number layout, Style (old-style is now available).
In Format / Style / Measure numbers: untick “Show number range at multimeasure rests”.
