Musescore 4 crashes when I plug in/connect an audio device
Even when I don't have a score open, it crashes/quits whenever I plug in headphones or connect via Bluetooth. Is this potentially a hardware issue on my side, or is this a software issue? The specs on my computer aren't great, it's a prebuilt Dell office PC, but it doesn't have this problem with any other program.

This is a well-known issue with MuseScore and I've heard it said that other notation programs have the same issue (at least sometimes). Nobody knows why.
Simply do not change your sound setup in any way while MuseScore Studio is running. Not even something as innocuous as unplugging your speakers and plugging in headphones. Save your work, exit MuseScore, make the change, launch MuseScore, and open your file again.
